Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to service my car even if it’s running fine?
Yes. Regular servicing helps detect issues before they become expensive problems. It also maintains your car’s performance, fuel efficiency and safety on the road.
Will servicing with Route 1 void my new car warranty?
Not at all. As long as your vehicle is serviced according to the manufacturer’s specifications using approved parts, your warranty remains valid — and we meet all of those requirements.
How often should I get my car serviced?
We recommend following your logbook schedule, usually every 10,000–15,000 km or every 6–12 months — whichever comes first. If you’re unsure, we’re happy to check your service history and advise.
Can you service European or electric vehicles?
Absolutely. Our technicians are trained to work on all types of vehicles, including European models, hybrids and EVs. We use up-to-date diagnostic tools to ensure precise, safe servicing.
How long does a standard service take?
A basic service usually takes 1–2 hours. More complex repairs or diagnostics may take longer, but we’ll always let you know upfront and keep you updated.
Do you offer courtesy vehicles or pick-up options?
We offer flexible options to minimise disruption, including courtesy vehicles and local pick-up/drop-off where possible. Just ask when booking your service.
